The first day I walked into this class, I didn't expect much. I am not very passionate about photography and I needed another technology credit to graduate. However, my feelings quickly changed. I began to really enjoy this class. I loved taking pictures with my friends and editing pictures to make them perfect. I also had a lot of fun with the photoshop assignments. I had experienced some difficulty with photoshop in past classes, but this class finally showed me how to use it and navigate it easily.
Also, I did not expect to improve on my photography skills. I never considered myself a photographer but now I am much more comfortable being asked to take nice looking photographs for different occasions. With the material that I have learned and the editing tools I have used, I will now be able to take much nicer pictures than before.

As you can see, there is a huge difference between the pictures from the first class assignment to the last. Even though the images composition is similar, the quality of the picture has vastly improved. The first picture is out of focus, quite blurry, and too high on the exposure. The second picture is in focus and the light is contained between the two branches. The second picture also is much more defined and edited. From the first shooting assignment to the last, I learned a lot about how to take better pictures andd I think that this comparison truly shows that.
